Domingo, 31 de Julio 2005

The first group was supposed to leave this sunday morning at 5.30 am. At 6.00 am Virginia called me that the taxi has not arrived yet. Lucas was already on his way to the school to pick up Christian, Tom, Michelle and Alex to bring them in his private car to Mlaga. When they passed the Alameda park they saw the taxi waiting for them. Fortunately there was no traffic and they arrived well in time in Mlaga to take their respective planes.

The second group left at 09.00 am with a bus although some were flying in the early evening. The teens took the decision together to leave the school alltogether and spent their last hours together in the airport. Virginia and Antonio were with them the whole day until the last student had checked in.

Lon took his flight from Sevilla. I accompanied him and his surfboard. There was no problem in checking the board in.

When everyone has gone it was my last task to close the door from the Residence. It was so quiet there and seeing the school without any life I realised that Lenguaventura 2005 was over. The 4 weeks have gone so fast.

From some parents we have heard that their children arrived savely at home. Stefan had a hard time as he came home one day later and so did Alexa.

We have also heard that Stefan and Will are going to meet again at Christmas and maybe Lon and Mateo are going to see each other again later this year.

So we close the Campus :(( in the hope that the friendships that have been made will last a little while and that the Spanish learned with our teachers Fina, Lola, Mariluz and Gema will made every single participant to the No. 1 in his class afther the summer holiday:))

Take care and good luck to everyone.
